First of all I’m a now 50something, captured in the body of a 30something (my girlfriend would say), that loves to travel and explore. I’m not living for work anymore, but working to live and also to be able to travel.

My parents already noticed my interest in foreign countries and history, especially the ancient history, when I was a kid. I loved to read all the greek mythology and I still remember standing as a kid at the Cape Sunion, when I was there with my parents, looking at the Poseidon Temple and remembering the words of Homer about this place in the Odyssey. Living mythology. Living history.

Lately everything started with a simple Instagram profile I posted pictures of my travels to and tried to give more informations or describe the feelings I had on specific places in this very moment.

With gaining more followers on Instagram, also the amount of questions through personal messages were more and more. At a certain point I decided that it would be a good idea, that collecting all the questions and combine them with the informations I have already gathered and include them into travel articles for the destinations.

And now: Here it is. Still a lot of work, but I’m slowly getting somewhere.
