First of all I’m a now 50something, captured in the body of a 30something (my wife would say), that loves to travel and explore. I’m not living for work anymore, but working to live and also to be able to travel.

My parents already noticed my interest in foreign countries and history, especially the ancient history, when I was a kid. I loved to read all the greek mythology and I still remember standing as a kid at the Cape Sunion, when I was there with my parents, looking at the Poseidon Temple and remembering the words of Homer about this place in the Odyssey. Living mythology. Living history.

Through my instagram travel profile I gained some more reach and focussed on giving real life views on my travels without the usual filter galore that other travel guys do.

And for some time already I also do hotel and resort tests with a high focus on improving and upholding the quality of the companies and help them to see where they can improve in terms of service, resulting also in a higher revenue for the companies running the hotels and resorts.

Why? Because it helps the guests AND companies to improve their accommodation offerings. My goal: The best for both sides!
