…Instagram deactivated my Instagram with all my beloved photos, followers and interesting people I was following. :'(

For now I started the process of trying to get my account back, which I hope will be possible, because I’ve put so much work into my posts and was enjoying all the conversations I had wih my followers and the friendships that arose from it by now.

To be honest I’m sad and frustrated. I don’t really know why it was deactivated. Instagram says I didn’t follow the community guidelines and yes, I got rid of follows that posted stuff I can’t relate to anymore each month and cleaned up a lot of spam and fake accounts, but I thought this is the normal course of action on the platform. I also often posted in a short amount of time from many different countries. Last week I accessed Instagram from 4 countries within several hours as we were travelling from Germany over Austria, through Slovenia to Croatia and back. Don’t know if this caused a problem for Instagram.

Thanks a lot for all of you that wrote me an eMail and asked if everything is ok! Yes it is! Just sad to now be able to use my account and possibly lose it forever! :'(
