With the croatian region of Istria not being classified as high-risk area anymore, I just decided to try and do a short trip to Croatia for the long easter weekend. Hotel is already booked in the beautiful area of Novigrad in the Rivalmare Boutique Hotel. Wanted to visit this hotel for quite some time and now I think is the right time to test it. I will surely do a hotel test of it afterwards.

Overall I really hope the weather will be good and I truely can’t express how much I miss the sea, so I really look forward to this short trip. This will be the first trip in 2021, except for some day trips in Germany and we really take it serious to do an extended planning for this short trip in terms of health security. Transit will be through Austria and Slovenia, which we will be able to do without a single stop, because my car has a 1000km range when driving on the highway with automatic cruise controls, so this shouldn’t be a problem either.

The hotel booking is including breakfast, but depending on the hygiene concept of the hotel I will most likely choose to have breakfast in the room or on the balcony if the weather allows. We’ll see. As in my previous travels through this pandemic, I will also avoid all crowded sightseeing spots and places again.

Appointments for pre-travel PCR tests are booked already and the Croatia travel registration has also been done.

Soooo looking forward to see the sea again!
