First and foremost:

I wish all of you a happy new year and hope you had a relaxing start into the year 2021!

For me the new year started like the old one ended: Calm and relaxing like cruising through a wonderful scenery!

Through the free days I already started planning travels for 2021 and looking for destinations I want to see or the places I want to explore a bit more. Google Maps is a curse and blessing here, because when “exploring” it just shows me tons of places all over the world I definitely want to see.

In respect to the current situation, I’ll try again to find a good mixture with destinations reachable by car and plane during times without school holidays, so the places won’t be crowded. Just like I did last year and this kind of planning rewarded us with amazing moments such as:

• Completely empty Lago di Garda and Venice in Italy
• Perfect sightseeing and sea days without tourists in Croatia
• Experiencing calm and sunny days on Rhodes in Greece
• Exploring one of the most breathtaking caves on our own in Slovenia
• Relaxing with a SPA section just for us two in Austria

For this year I’ll try to bring you more articles on great accomodations, show you more wonderful aerial views with the drone and I’ll be more available to your questions over Instagram, to help you with questions concerning travelling, destinations, places to see and everything that is related!
